Jen, I think you are talking about the APGAR score - they score at birth and then again at five minutes.

It's a score out of 10, with a max of two points for each of:
- heart rate
- grimace
- breathing
- muscle / movement
- skin colour



WWAAAAAAH - lucky you getting to visit and hold him. I KNOW Cali is only just over 3 months, but I can't wait for my friend Michelle to deliver in October, so we can have another newborn around - it's just such a special time.
