Bri - I use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D. It's basically the outdated model of the XT (the one that .sarah has) but it works great for what I need it for ^^ A little on the pricey side, though.

I don't here, yet, but, just because I haven't downloaded Adobe Photoshop onto David's computer yet. And, hey, I saw that you want to be a pet photographer. I want to be in the field of photography, too, in some way, possibly pets. I, too, have a long way to go! It's a very competitive field, and, no way am I going anywhere with the camera I use. I'm looking to get a professional camera here soon, but, I have to show my boyfriend (who'd be buying it) that I could actually make money with it. Best of luck in making your dreams come true, as I try to make mine!

Bri - check Ebay! I love ebay. lol. There are alot of camera dealers online, and alot of them have new cameras for prices a bit lower than in stores ^^

Ahh, that would be an issue then. Well, keep your eyes out for sales in the newspaper! Check classified ads, too, as some people sell used cameras for less ^^

For ebay, I don't think you need Paypal to buy stuff. I sometimes buy beanie babies(I'm a collector) and I just use a money order. I'm not sure if it's the same for electronic stuff though.
