    Awh now Carole,

You know I was just joshin'. Trying to get under the skin of those taking it to heart and all... LOL. I'm sure it "is" quite different in Scotland. I was just referring to the U.S. and my own personal experience - with sissys!!! LOL!

You do know that in the U.S. we even have a phenomenon called "Soccer Moms". They cart their kids to and from practice and games and kind of live for soccer. BUT they do it more for the socialization aspect of it all and not really the competition (which is OK, I guess). They encourage equal times, boys and girls mixed and "not keeping score". Everyone has a jolly ol' time and they go out and get ice cream afterwards. The mom's carpool with each other and yaack about everything and everyone and everybody gets rides to and from all events - even if the events are across the the street from yer house!!!

Uh Oh... here I go again... Uhmmm, I meant to say that Soccer is COOL!

    USA vs. CZE = 0:3

I was about to throw something at the TV...My only question is that if Langdon Donovan is supposed to be so good and with all the media coverage surrounding him, WHY is it that I never saw him *once* in the game? Ridiculous!

On a lighter note, Ghana vs. Italy is going on right now and I have so much respect for the Ghana goalie, Kingston. WOW. Some of those saves were worth standing ovations, IMO. In my eyes, he should be Man of the Match.

    0:2

    OH...WOW. An open goal. WOW.

Is anybody watching France-Switzerland?? They are 0:0, but it's a really exciting game to watch

I want to see Brazil-Croatia too! Those brazilians are just too good, and I love watching them, but it will be a bit scary if they have to play against Argentina...
