    Kitten is 'chaton' yup, but cat is just 'chat'.

    But the most important thing to remember is it isn't pronounced like its spelled. "Chat" is pronounced "shaa". Well the CORRECT way to say "cat" is "le chat".

    Thanks everyone for all the wonderful suggestions! With all of our hard work combined we came up with a name for the cutie, and a name that needed no research. lol
    Since day one I was calling the kitten George & Frank (and a million and 3 other names). My friend who will be taking the kitten IF I decide not to keep it also likes the name George, so that is his name, George. LOL He really does like the name though.

    Kay, I love the name Mosi, I'll have to keep that in mind for the next rescue/foster.

    I know, I was born & raised french for the first 3yrs of my life. My whole family is french. I can read french pretty well (most of the time hehe)
