She's facing charges of "intentionally harming an animal". Hasn't gone to court yet though. They are seeking a fine and a ban on owning any animal for at least two years. Unfortunately, she likely wont' get any jail sentance. However, she is also charged with impaired driving and a few other driving offenses for that same night. She'll get a stiffer punishment for those charges!
