I thought maybe the same thing. Seems like you would be able to get family or friends or even friends of friends to move in and live in your house for FREE for 6 months to a year - and all ya gotta do is is take care of the dogs???!!!
Heck, I was thinking about doing it... just kidding. If it is real, then I hope it works out for her. But if she asks for your bank account so she can "DEPOSIT" money into it for the dogs upkeep, don't do it. You're bank account will be empty before you can say "hotdog-diggity"!

I did a little looking around since the message came across one of the dal rescue yahoo groups, this is what I found: According to Jen, the dogs were supposedly turned into a shelter in Ohio by her mother. Not the one she thought according to her email, but in searching I found them at the Animal Adoption Foundation in Hamilton, Ohio. I'm not so sure it's a scam. Her two dogs are there on the website. thing that strikes me if she is from Ohio why would she go to Iraq of all places kinda still sounds fishy.....
