Yorkies?

thank you for the info.. i guess what i mean by 'schedule' is like... daily routines... sleeping habits, generally how often etc. walks, food etc. i know every dog is different but wasnt sure if anything was particular to their breed. Bailey is paralyzed from the waist down... he wears a diaper to avoid accidents.. he can run, go up and down stairs, just can't jump very high... he gets tired after about 20 min. of playtime and likes to rest for a few before going back at it, would this be too 'inactive' a situation, do you think, for a yorkie? again i thank you for your imput.

yorkie puppies, like all puppies, sleep a lot. a good run in a fenced yard or a walk will keep a yokie in shape. if you get a puppy you could teach the puppy when enough is enough when playing with Bailey. an adult dog may want to play play all the time. may be too much for Bailey.

if you choose to get a yorkie PLEASE be sure not to get one from a petstore or a puppy mill. i rescued my second yorkie from a puppy mill. a lot of their puppies end up having heart, and breathing problems. just be sure to double check where you get your dog. shelters/rescues are always the best place to find a dog.

lol! My mothers yorkie RAN the household. She used to hang from our 120lb wolf mixes nose when he pissed her off. She thought she was 9ft tall/1000lbs XD
