New dog! *pictures*

Hi , I'm Sarah, Makaylas friend. She has told you that I was going to get a new dog ,well I did. His name is Max, he is a german shepard that was starved and is very skinny. He belonged to a policeofficer that was training him to be a police dog, but then she claimed he had hip problems, not by the looks of it though She told us she would put him down in 5 days if no one adopted him. We couldn't believe this, and yesterday we went to go see him, Makayla came along. He was a sweetheart, and a really playful guy, but the skinniest you'd ever see! Sometimes Rupert snaps at him... but the adults say he is setting boundaries... is that true? And Rupert keeps licking Max's lips and rolling over onto his back in front of Max... does anyone know what's happening when this happens? He drank gallons out of the toliet when he go home, as the police officer probubly didn't give him any water We had a water bowl for him but I suppose he perfered the toliet! Makayla and I have been feeding him caned food so he will be big and strong again. He deosnt like dog food very much because he was only fed a little bit of people food daily at the police officer's house, so we are slowly trying to get him on that. He is a beautiful sight. Makayla took these pictures and sent them to me, here he is!

He is one handsome boy! That's so sad that they did that to him. Rupert is such a pretty dog too.

Yes, Rupert is setting boudries. He is telling Max that he needs to give him some space and what ever he's doing Rupert doesn't like. When Rupert rolls on his back, he is showing submission.
