Exactly. Rabbits, eggs, and other symbols of fertility are Easter symbols that pre-date Christianty from when Easter was still as celebration of the goddess.
Most people don't know (or care) where the Easter Bunny came from. However, it seems silly that it should offend the non-Christians when it was from the non-Christians it came from!
