I was sorry to hear about your double loss of both Jade and Sophie, they were lovely.

There seem to be several of us reeling from the sudden loss of our dearly loved cats in just the past week or so. I have lost 4 of my 10 cats in the past eleven months, losing Ted last week. I still can't write about him. I know, from too much recent experience, that time will mellow the memories but it's hard to get past the current churning thoughts of "I should have noticed" "I should have checked" "I shouldn't have waited an hour", etc. We are all going to have to take comfort from the many messages of support from other PT people who understand the pain, shock and bewilderment. We've all got to keep in our minds the memories that make us smile and remember how much pleasure our cats took in their lives with us, and us with them.
