San Diego Zoo pics

Slick I finally managed to find the panda pics I told you about. The video I have actually shows her moving around playing but I have no way to get it onto the computer so hopefully these will do...

These are pics taken a few years ago now of the San Diego zoo's first panda, I managed to get lucky and get in I think about a month before the general public so I got some really good pics. The last 2 were taken by a friend during her trip to China..

I'm so jealous! One day I'd love to go to the San Diego zoo. I'm glad you got a chance to visit it.

Awsome! Even though pandas have never been my favorite, they're still cute. I'd like to see the big cat pics anyway. (I want to be a carnivore keeper "when I grow up") The other week my mom was on a business trip in San Diego and she got an afternoon free and so she called me from the zoo and explained all the exhibits to me

I finally got to go to the SD zoo! I was there this weekend for a rugby tourny and I mentioned to the girl who I was carpooling with that I really wanted to go. Thankfully she did too as did another girl on the team. So Sunday morning when we finished our last game we went to the zoo. I'll try to post my pics in a new thread soon.

The "kitty" is one of the zoo enrichment animals who does shows, his buddy is a golden retriever. I just happened to catch him licking the trainers hand. I'm not sure if it was in greeting or checking for lunch..
