My ex-friend had her 4th child when she was 22, NOT 1 child is a year apart! Neither parent had jobs & they couldn't look after their pets properly
I stopped hsnging out with her shortly after her 2ed as there was only so much yelling I can stand (not yelling at the kids, the kids were really good), but it was a wife-husband kind of yelling. ALL the fights were pointless & rather annoying. The wern't like that before the kids.. Also they expected me to buy their kids things.. ya right, I was fresh out of college & was 20k in debt. I bought my god-daughtor (still kicking myself to aggreeing with it) a big stuffed polar bear (I got it for .99 in sale from 30.00 from the store I worked at) & because it didn't look like I spent 100.00 on it.. it was tossed in the corner & ignored

Its horrible how some people can change from good to bad after they have kids.

I personally know I wouldn't be able to handle a non-stop crying baby & my dad was the same. BUT there is a way to get out of it, without even thinking of doing something horrible to the child. Make sure the baby is 100% safe in the crib, clean diaper, no feaver, monitor is turned on & then go outside with the other monitor & keep it on low (not too low) & read a book to get away from it all. When the baby stops crying, go check on it & turn the monitor back to normal.

My dad has a BAD temper & NOT once did he ever harm us. The TV even states that the above is a good method.

A man goes into a barber shop to get his hair cut. While cutting his hair the barber says to the man, I don't believe there is a God or he wouldn't let all this bad stuff happen in this world. The man doesn't reply because he doesn't want to start a confrontation. However, he feels that somehow he needs to explain to the barber that God is not happy with this kind of stuff either.

After his haircut, he pays and walks out the door. On the sidewalk coming across the street from the barber shop is a man with long dirty stringy hair walking down the sidewalk. The man obviously has not had a shower in a long time. The man leaving the barber shop walks back in and said to the barber, "there must not be barbers in this world," "How can you say that?" asks the barber. "Well look at that dirty man with his long stringy dirty hair. If there were barbers in this world, surely they would not let that happen. They would offer to cut his hair and clean him up, right?" The barber replied "I can not help him if he doesn't come to me for help".

It is basically the same with God. He did give us Free will and we choose if we want to accept him and his help or not. He is just as unhappy about the lady crushing her son's skull as we are. Perhaps if the lady had asked God for strength, he would of provided it. Instead she chose to ignore him and his willingness to help. The babies skull being crushed was the result. It is sad on two points... 1. People do ignore God's willingness to be a part of their lives and 2. People choose to do evil things.

I pray that the child will not suffer any permanent damage and that someone loving comes into his life to care for him.

That is truly horrific. I honestly cannot stand to hear about things like this because it makes me realize what our world can be often. As for God letting it happen, that is a little ridiculous to say in my oppinion. As others have said before me, God gave us free will. He cannot right every wrong in this world, we have the will to do that ourselves. We also have the will and choice to ask God for help on making a decision or doing something.

I think that God was kind by just fracturing a skull.

It sure beats being scalded to death
    shaken to death
    beat toi death
or starved to death...god does work in mysterious ways.
and sometimes he gives the little ones a chance, the chance to be taken out of a life like that!

I would trade a fractured skull for the rest of my life living with a emeffer like that...

I agree with most of the God talk here so far.

It really irks me (and God too, if you read up on it), to be blamed for stuff like this...why do people think that God causes all these bad things? There's a big difference in allowing free will and in causing bad things to happen. Just think about all the awesome things God has put into each of our lives: pets, pets, PT, other pet owners who want to be so helpful and kind on PT, salvation through the cross (well, Easter is coming up soon, right), loving families (the vast majority of families are loving to their children after all), shelter, food, the means to take proper care of our pets, oh, and did I mention pets .
