Smoking ban! Yippee!

Both my parents smoke. My dad is trying to quit, and he IS going to do it, he's very serious. He's stopping completely in a few days. My mom says she's going to. *haha right...*

I hate people telling me at school that my clothes smell like smoke. I can't help it and it's embarresing. Plus it makes my asthma even worse.

I think it is sad that your parents think it is ok to continue smoking around you, they should at least smoke out of the house, my sister n law and brother n law both smoked but had a no smoking policy in the house or around their children, it is the least any parent who choses to smoke should do, they are forcing you to be a passive smoker and with all the knowledge one has today that is just as bad for you, glad to hear you dad is willing to at least try to give it up, hope you mother follows his good example.

IMO any parent who smokes around a child with asthma is very irresponsible and it is a form of child abuse, i know that is a hard line to take but it is how I view it.
