My Bo, orange and white, also has a spot on his lip like Fister. I asked the vet about it when Bo was a little young thing and the vet said that orange cats tend to get them more than other colors.
I thought they looked kind of like freckles. You know how redheads are more prone to freckles than others, so it makes sense that orange kitties are more prone to freckles too. I think they're kind of cute.
