Missing Sami - RB 2 years Feb 24

[Queen of Poop]

This is a picture of Sami and I from February 24, 2004. It was taken only hours before she was PTS. She had woken me around 2:30 am, unable to use her back legs. She was terrified, as was I. She would have had her 14th birthday on February 18, 2006 if she were still with us. I still miss her so very much. She was such a good dog, and was my first dog away from home. Anyways, I've been crying over her loss all evening and thought I'd post this a few days early - maybe it will make me feel better. Thanks for letting me share.

Sami, I love you, I miss you and I need your attention and assistance. I know this is your special day, you've been gone 2 years today. But Delta is really in need of help. Please, please help him find his way home. Good girl, off you go, get to work!!!

What a lovely girl she was, I love that picture of her kissing you. it's so sad that we get so little time with them here. i'm sure she's looking down from the RB and saying "Hi mom, i love you too! i'm still watching out for you!"

I remember you first posting about Sami. It was hard then and hard now,but I hope it's a little better when you think about him and that you can smile instead of cry.
