He sure is a handsome orangie. Hopefully his new food will allow him to lose the weight that he needs so he'll be healthy again and will be able to go home to his new family.![]()
Do you know how much he weighs and how old is he?

He looks like he is in perfect bliss! Oh, Emory, what a sweet boy you are!!

Prayers for Emory. And prayers that his new family will not hold this against him (that he is sick). He deserves so much love.

These are the kind Kevin & I just love to take in and love. Best wishes Emory!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
Get well soon emory and I hope you recover to be the fittest healthiest cat on the block![]()
Maybe you can work with the family and the vet to have the family "foster" him while he is on his diet. It might be easier to comply if he's the only cat. Your org. would provide the vet care, etc. We do this in our cat rescue when someone is willing to take on a special needs "project".
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!

Mom wants to do that, but she is going on vacation next week for 2 weeks. She has several animals -- cats, dogs, birds, small furries, 3 young kids. She's a total animal lover and will be volunteering in our adoption center. We'd totally let her take Em if it wasn't for her upcoming vacation.
