I'm glad it's good news and hope he's feeling better soon. As for possible nerve/tendon damage, my roomate sliced her finger all the way to the bone at work and had fairly severe nerve/tendon, it took her about a year but she did get feeling back in her finger.
i was just wondering what the doc said.............
great news!! i´m sorry for his pain, doctors really cant understand it, hope everything (fingers/back) get better, you are still in my thoughts.......
it sound a long time to recover but its worth to keep your finger, so i´ll cross mine to help at every moment....... HUGS to all

It's so weird how you never think of your fingers being connected, just individual joints. When my mom damaged her pinky, it affected her ring and middle finger. Digit injuries are especially painful. Poor Stuart. I hope he's getting some pain relief. My mom had to have a lot of hand physical therapy.
Yikes! Good luck with his back. He has my sympathy and compassion as I'm still recuperating from spine surgery from June. It takes over a year they say. Regardless, it sure is a lot better now than it was so I have no regrets. Back problems suck, they interfere with everything you do and it's hard not to think about anything else. I hope it's not serious enough for surgery. Good luck Stuart, I'll be thinking about you.
I've been Boooo'd!
I am so glad it looks better now. A hand is such a complicated thing- I really hope it all works out.
Glad to hear that things don't appear as bad as first thought. Continued good thoughts!
Thanks so much kittycats_delight for the beautiful siggy and avatar of my kids!
