I think both are very beautiful, and I think that it depends on their taste. What kind of house do they have??? If they decorate more modern (crystal vases, white carpet, leather couch) then I would go with the glass. If they have more of a country taste (wooden tables, flowered furniture, colored carpet or wood floors) then I would go with the wooden frame.

I like the wooden one. I think the glass is overused... every wedding gift shop has something just like it. The wooden one is great! You can tell it took time and was special ordered and such.

I think the wood is nice, especially since you said they aren't fancy people. The glass one would be nice for people who had a lot of glass and crystal already and liked to clean glass a lot (LOL!)

Of course, either one you chose would be lovely. They'll be thrilled with it. I know I would (though I wouldn't want to clean the glass one and I know I'd be obsessive about it!

I voted for wood, though, since I had to make a selection. I think the wood appeals to me because that is what I would like if the gift was for me.

I voted for the wood because it is less breakable, so it would be more likely to survive long-term!

How unique and thoughtful Staci. Both are beautiful. I would say go for the wooden one. I'm a glass fanatic but I think the wood would fit them better. If those are actual pics of your parents we can see where you got your good looks

I picked the glass one.It would be hard for me to pick for someone
else without knowing something about them. I'm sure they will love
whichever you chose.

To me, the glass seems a bit tacky, like something you found one day in the walgreens. The wood seems updated and a lot more thoughtful.

Staci i found it a hard choice to make as both are beautiful in their own way, but i think I will go with the etched glass one, hope all our opinions help you choose.
