Grant's 2nd Birthday......UPDATED w/pics of Dog Show!!

August 20th, 2005 was the day you were brought home from the shelter. What a shy boy you were at first. It has been a long 5 months and we are still working on everything. It has been quite an experience but one I wouldn't trade for the world. You keep me on my toes. I want to wish you a very happy birthday handsome boy.

**At the dog show today they had a Doggie Fun Zone so I let Grant go through it. I think I have an agility dog on my hands (well duh Amber, he is a herding dog). He went through on his 2nd run at 27.78. Not bad for his first time. His 1st run was like 32 something, so he did a lot better 2nd time around. He was barking waiting his turn to go the 2nd time. He was so excited. I wish I had a pic but I couldn't take pics and catch him at the end at the same time. He went through a course that had jumps, tunnels and an A-Frame. Crazy boy was going like a bat out of hell through there. He then got to race a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier but that dog got a bad start and Grant just kept going, that dog just came back to its owner. Grant was like yeah right I'm outta here. Alright, I'll get some of the dog show pics posted next.


Kay, I just heard about it this week. Next year maybe we can go.
