Oh Rocky, I hope you can stick it out- for just a while. It's soo hard, when you're an old man, you get grumpy, and you're tired, often. BTW, Rocky, you're very handsome!

Thank you everyone!
He ate this morning, so my parents thought he would be doing a bit better, and they took him out for a walk. But after a while, they noticed it was too exhausting for him and they had to go back.
And yes, Corinna, it's true, his eyes are so sad now. Just as if he thinks he cannot leave his family... poor guy!

He reminds me so much of my Wolfgang, who went to the Bridge on March 9, 2004.
May I ask what is wrong with Rocky?

Thank you everyone! I saw Rocky this evening and he seemed to be doing better. He was more interested in things, he ate a bit, and he enjoyed to have company and to be petted. I guess it's going to be a rollercoaster from now on, with ups and downs...
He went to the vet last week because his appetite lessens and because he has lost weight. They made an x-ray-shot and found out that his spleen is very enlarged, it fills the entire abdomen. My stepdad was too shocked to asked what's the cause of this, but I suspect it might be cancer.May I ask what is wrong with Rocky?
The vet said that due to Rocky's age (11 years) and his bad condition, he wouldn't survive a surgery. All we can do is to wait if he makes it to the Bridge by himself, or if he needs help...
