I know exactly how you feel, I have the same.... had to refrain from coughing up a lung at work infront of customers. Nyquil has been a life saver for me because when I lay down I cough and cough and get no sleep until it knocks me out.

Poor David! Sorry you have a major case of the ickies. Hubby and I both have had a cold for a few months now. I did 2 weeks of antibiotics... was well for a week then caught it again... arrrrgh!

My hubby is diabetic too, so this is what we took... Robitussin Cough DM (Sugar-free) Robitussin actually has a few out there that are sugar-free.
Chicken Soup too!

Thank you for the well wishes and the suggestions! I'm sure hope this clears up by Christmas eve and day! I'm supposed to sing in my church's choir. One problem, I'm the ONLY tenor!
