Paxil's cancer is back....

Prayers for Paxil..hopefully they're just benign.. I've been through the exact same thing with Bear. We removed a large mast cell tumor (also the aggressive type) where they didn't manage to get full margins because of the size, and we played a wait and see game. Sure enough w/i about 8 months I found 2 more lumps. I think I invented a few curse words when I found those so believe me I understand the need. Feel free to PM me if you need to just vent. The good news which might give you some hope for Paxil is that those 2 new lumps were benign. Over the past 4 years he's gotten about 10-12 over his body, all benign so it is possible they might not be cancerous even with Paxils history. Fingers and paws crossed.

Sorry to hear about Paxil's new lumps--hopefully your great vet can work some sort of miracle. My Thandi's were too large to remove with any great success (on her spine) so we just kept her on benadryl and cemetidine for another year and she did great until the end.
