Glad to hear he's feeling better! It's always so hard to keep them from goofing off!
Hi Amy and Nebo,
I'm still thinking about you guys and sending out big hugs.
Glad to hear he's feeling better...Sounds like your going to have your hands full keeping him quiet...I had he same problem with Nikka after her hip surgery. The vet said keep her quiet and off it for 2 weeks
The first couple of days were fine...she had enough drugs in her she was fairly sleepy all the time. But, as soon as those tapered off she was out and running the yard. We put a sock on her foot with a small ping pong ball in it to force her to use only 3 legs when she went out potty (she won't go on a leash...
). She'd always go around the house where I couldn't see her from the deck and come back with the sock off running on all 4's. 2 weeks we battled this, I was so thrilled when the vet gave the all clear to let her use that leg again. I took everything off and let her go....and watched as she hopped around on 3 legs....2 weeks of battle and now that she's given the all clear she won't use it.
....It took me another 2 weeks before I could get her to use that leg.
Nebo, you goofy boy! You're supposed to be taking it easy! Take advantage of it.![]()

Nebo is such a goofy boy. You think that's bad. When Jimmy first had his heartworm treatment it was very important that he didn't run for 6 weeks! So I had a 1 year old (Morty), a JRT wild maniac (Harley), and Sylvia(ok the last one is a bad example of a highly active dog) running around and I had to keep the new guy on a leash. It was so hard, especially when he saw squirrels in the yard. Impossible! But we got through it.
Prayers are still coming for Nebo and you. No matter what it is there are a lot of options.
Billy and Willy! (2 of my 4)
