Clarebear I just watched a documentary last night on OCD, it was very interesting, they had a girl who continually washed her hands as you do, and a woman who could not touch anything, and a man who confessed to committing crimes he did not committ, gosh their lives were so difficult, it is not something you would wish on your worst enemy, I really felt for them all ,but do you know they went to a OCD house and were getting professional help and every one of them got way better, some were cured If that is the right word, but one of the things he made the girl with OCD washing her hands, really turned me off,and I would not even do it, he made her put her hand around the inside rim of the toilet and then eat food, that was disgusting to me, I cannot believe that kind of method would work, YUCK. still it was an enjoyable programme and really gave me an insight to OCD.,just thought I would share that with you.
