I forgot to mention that I also have Obsessive Compulive disorder and anxiety.
I main thing with my ocd is germs. I wash my hands at least loads each day. I used to be much much worst but I wont go into that cause its history.

When I suffered from it in my late teens, did your eye vision go dark and cloudy when you were depressed?
One of my best friends has really bad AS, and it can be strange sometimes....he used to have the STRONGEST aversion to the color red - on anything. It made going places interesting....rather than getting frustrated we would turn it into a game. "get to the movie theater without passing any red cars" or whatever we needed to do.![]()

I think it is really cool that you could come here and speak openly about living with AS. It is equally cool that the people on this forum would be so open-minded and supportive in reaction. I have a brother with severe AS, and seeing the disorder discussed maturely and kindly like this is wonderful. Definitely makes this newbie feel at home.
