How sweet. I'm glad Sleet can still appreciate a good stuffy. That's how old Duke is now, too. Doesn't it make you feel good to see them acting like a puppy at times?

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I love watching her play. She cracks me up. Hobo has been very good for her. He often brings out the puppy in Sleet. They are very good friends. Technically, he's a senior too, but he has no idea he's supposed to be calming down!Doesn't it make you feel good to see them acting like a puppy at times?
The last picture kinda shocked me. She actually looks old in it, at least to me. I never see the cloudy eyes, grey muzzle, ect when I look at Sleet. I still see her as she was 5 years ago when she first arrived!
If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you must find the courage to live it.
