Thanks for the warm welcome
A little about my babies, Cracker is 2-1/2 and I've had him since he was 8 weeks. Ginger is a bit over 5 and I rescued her when she was 2. She is my problem child, has horrid arthritis in both hind legs, has had a mast cell removed from her neck, has to have me pick her butt up to ever get her in the car, is on more supplements than me, and is full of more heart than she is brains but I love her dearly. Cracker is my "soul dog", if that makes sense. We have a very close bond that only others who have that type of thing can understand, which I'm sure is many of you here! While we love all of our pets some have that special connection that can't really be put into words.
For myself, My real name is Shirley but I'm not so overly partial to thatI'm 33 (almost 34, ahhhh), work from home as a medical transcriptionist, have 3 kids ages 13, 11, and 10, and have been married to the same guy for 15+ years.
I also have a Betta named Vader and a bearded dragon creatively named Dragon. He only has three legs, he was a rescue too hehe.
Well that's about it. Hope to get to know you all better.
