I am sure I will take plenty of heat for saying this, but, I haven't ever heard of a situation where greater than 50% of the litter didn't survive. Of course, I am sad for the pups that didn't make it, and, in fact, sad that this dog was bred at all. The last thing we need is more dogs. To know that so many didn't survive makes me wonder about the bitch, and her birthing ability.

I know you receive some sort of 'protection' from PT for breeding dogs. Somehow, you rise above the ranks, and maybe some people are afraid to say anything. I don't know why that is, but, I want to remain consistent in my stance- no more homeless pets. Breeding, for whatever reason, means more dogs in the world, more homeless dogs, etc.

While puppies and kittens are adorable, and I think these surviving ones are no exception, I don't think it is right that you breed. For whatever reason. No matter what bloodline you are advancing.

I refuse to glorify intentional breeding. Yours included.
