Help with pictures

You need to open the pictures in any paint program - Paintshop comes with a lot of computers, and you can reduce their size there. Then see Phred's excellent tutorial.

Thank you for your help. I received Phred's tutorial and figured it out. I am wondering about posting the alvatar (sp?) with my posts. Can I do that with a pic of my pugs?

If you go into your UserCP there will be a link on the left that says "edit avatar". It will give you the option to upload an avatar there! Make sure the avatar is no larger than 60x60
