on my BIG Dinner Plate Eyez ... but da Butler/Bus Driver Guy started sayin
I "STUNK" ... so da last few tymes we went da BIG Eyez dint werk ...
Yeah, each tyme D&D did their Sinkernized Divin routine ...
MY tyme alluz kame too.

Alluz figgered it out too late ---
Out on doze darn Floatin Dockz da boatz sit beside.
Same ole - same ole ...
Walk out - run outta Dock ... an fur SUM reazon *I* cant jest "walk back".

*PUSH* - *SpaLOOSH* anna onlee way back is ta SWIM!

Gotta admit - sure felt "cooler" after da Swimmin ...
But I sure DONT *like* dat furst step offa da Dock!!

I guess we gotz a New Fambly Hobbie -- BD Guy kallz it GeoCaching -
seems sorta like a Treasure Hunt ... strange "treasures".

Bus Driver "loads" sum stuff inna lil Map TV box an we drive around
till it goez *Beep*Beep*.
Den itz "Ebberbuddie OUT - letz go FIND it!"

We getz inta sum WIERD places ... followin sum nice trailz inna woodz an he sez
"Gettin klose - this way!"
An we start *wanderin around* in cirkelz *lookin*.
Swear he'z gonna kill himself! Alluz lookin atta Map TV ---
been known to *BONK* inta treez an stumble inta holez!

Last week we wuz inna nice Park an he sez
"Onlee 490 feet to go - Strait Ahead!"

We all trott ahead thru a lil break inna brush an >>
*JAM* onna brakes an ***FREEZE***!
OMG! We durn near walked ovur da edge of da Grand Kanyin Junior!!
Musta been a hunnert feet STRAIT Down!

"Hmmmm ... maybe we otta *follow da TRAIL* fur a while longer."

Took anudder halfa mile to wind down to da bottom;
den da Map TV sed go UP da udder side! Gud Grief - where's da BUS!??
"800 feet ta go"? ... Thunk it sed 490 feet halfa mile ago!?

Went 600 an it sed DOWN da Kanyin agin! GUD Grief!
"DOWN" we all went ... den da trees wuz "blockin da signal" anna Map TV
got 'stoopid' so we wuz on our own.
Bus Driver started *wanderin* agin ... diggin thru brush piles, lookin unner logs...

We *wandered* on our own. Cinder started *sniffin*. "What'cha got?"
Dunno - smellz like Foot Printz!
Smoke checked - "HEY - whut'z dis, Guyz? Lookz like an Ammo Box unner
a plie a stickz."

I wuz gonna start *diggin* - but our durn Y-Thingie *snagged* a tree
an we wuz all *stuck*!
SmokeMutt sent out a **YIPP*YAPP** fur help!
BD Guy kame ober kussin bout "WHY weren't we HELPIN!? ...
HEY - whadda ya GOT here!? ... You guyz FOUND IT!"

Any Dawg Bisquitz in there? NOPE! Just more lil junquie "trinketz"!
We took a lil Rubber Duckie an Left a lil Wabbitt we picked up a few "caches" before,
signed da Log Book, took a *snappie*, an re-hid da box inna same place.

Great - now HOW are we gonna find da BUS - itz *DARK* now!!!??
Bus Driver startz pushin buttonz onna Map TV box ....
"THIS WAY, Guyz!"

HEY - dis lookz like da "set-up" fur dat Rabies Clinic thing we went to inna Spring!

YEP! Dawgz an Katz started showin up! Allua Health Dept Gurlz kame in an
"rekkonized" us three! Wun Gurl kept sayi she wuz gonna "Dawg-Nap" me!
Da nice Gurl White Coat kame agin! She axk'd about Boots - "How's he doin?"

Cinnners & Smoke sed She's da Vet dat did Boots' Sir Jury a few yearz ago.

We wuz GOOD "Host Dawgz" an gotz sum bisquits (we brung a BIG Bag of em fur
allua "visitin dawgz" aftur dey gotz der Rabies *Ouwie* *STICK* frum Doc Lisa.)

I shudda hid unner da Fiur Boat when dey started *talkin* bout me.
Doc Lisa sed "Yeah, he can have his "Booster" now."

Whut'z a "Booster"??
I found out ... It'z a *JAB* inna neck!
But she gibz a good "Shot" - nebber felt a thing!

We've had KUMPANIE all week - Miz Cali (Mr. Pat's Pup) frum uppa street at
our "B&B Hotel" kame to bunk ober while her Mom & Pop went outta towne.
She got "roped inta" goin on sum GeoHuntz wiff us ... she thinks about az much
as *I* do about allua Hikin inna Woodz.
We'z all been ridin up to her howze two tymez a day to say "Howdee" to
"BC" da Kat an Dotty da Horse.
She came wiff us tuday to da Clinik, too.

Don't know HOW I ever missed this thread all this time...but it sure is wonderful to hear Bowser's story - although it may take me a while to read all 40+ pages of this link! "So far in the story, Bowser has been rescued by the kind-hearted super guy, Phred. he's now got a bath, a new collar, a new bed, and is looking for a new family -----the suspense is killing me! When did Phred finally decide to keep Bowser? When did Bowser decide to keep Phred and the gang????"

After all these months I have been missing out of this truley AMAZING story. I don't knowh how or why but I have. I read all of the posts today. Some made me cry and most of them made me want to pee my pants. But through and through this is a truley heart-warming story. And as I read this I knew Phred would wind up keeping Bowser. Anywho, I am VERY happy with this story. It made my day. It's amazing to me that Phred would drive 5 hours to get a dog. Many people would say its just a dog but not Phred. He drove five hours for him. And lucky for Bowser. I AM SO HAPPY THAT BOWSER IS HOME! And not only that but he has a furever home.
