PET TALK Chat Room - 8PM Eastern, Everynight.

Ok looks like this chat room thing is not working the way it is.
I was there for 30 minutes. Only one person stopped by but they left after about 2 minutes because I was the only one there.

Maybe instead of saying it will start at 8 every night, we should just have everyone who wants to chat post here and see if any one is interested at that time. Then all who can or want to can go to the chat room at that time.

For example; I could ask if anyone would be interested in a chat at 2 in the afternoon on such a day. Then if interest was indicated, we could go for a chat at that time.

This is just an idea. Any other ideas out there?

I do know it's not fun being there all by myself. I won't be there tomorrow night.

I know I've been back about checking in. Part of the problem is that being on the west coast the chat is early and I'm still out at rugby practice or off running errands. I'll try to check in more often.

I'm thinking that if anyone who wanted to chat would post here or on a new thread under General, then more people would have access to the chat room.

Maybe post a thread called : "anyone want to chat?" and then all who wanted to could go to the chat room then. That way people in different time zones could join in too.

Or maybe, just having the chat a few times a week ?

Any ideas? (by the way ; survivor is on tonight. That's why I won't be there)

I think that's a good idea, too! I've gone there a few times, and, no one else has been there. But, I did enjoy the chat with you and k9krazee and slleipnir. Even if it was only a brief one!

Don't take it personally. She's probably just busy. I think she works in the day so probably won't be on line until later.

Debbie, no worries. It's just that i've had numerous people hassle me and call me things because I can't always reply right away. It's upset me and made coming here become stressful in the past.

This week I had work and relatives down from Michigan (they flew home today) so I was unable to reply to all of my PM's or demands immediately. I spent most of the week with my family.
