Kay, I **did** apply, or at least I think I did! I have all the ICQ junk in my email inbox, and I confirmed....WHY can't things be easy enough for me to understand??

It took me a while to get it right too!

Now you need to go to the site and click chat. It should bring up a box requesting you send the web master a message requesting you be allowed to join the group. That's Kay. Just pop a short memo saying who you are and can you join. She will ok and then you won't have to do that again.

Do send her a PM from here too so she will know.

Sorry! Sautrday night I was there but not until 8:30. No one was there then either.

One problem may be different time zones. I think they start at 8 Eastern time.

I haven't felt up to it the last few nights. I will try to pop in around 8 tonight though!

Sorry Carmen (and everyone else) i've been sooooo busy lately with work and company I haven't been on. Tomorrow is my "day off" so I'm going to take tonight easy and hopefully join in on chat tonight.

Ok looks like this chat room thing is not working the way it is.
I was there for 30 minutes. Only one person stopped by but they left after about 2 minutes because I was the only one there.

Maybe instead of saying it will start at 8 every night, we should just have everyone who wants to chat post here and see if any one is interested at that time. Then all who can or want to can go to the chat room at that time.

For example; I could ask if anyone would be interested in a chat at 2 in the afternoon on such a day. Then if interest was indicated, we could go for a chat at that time.

This is just an idea. Any other ideas out there?

I do know it's not fun being there all by myself. I won't be there tomorrow night.

I know I've been back about checking in. Part of the problem is that being on the west coast the chat is early and I'm still out at rugby practice or off running errands. I'll try to check in more often.

I'm thinking that if anyone who wanted to chat would post here or on a new thread under General, then more people would have access to the chat room.

Maybe post a thread called : "anyone want to chat?" and then all who wanted to could go to the chat room then. That way people in different time zones could join in too.

Or maybe, just having the chat a few times a week ?

Any ideas? (by the way ; survivor is on tonight. That's why I won't be there)
