    How about being sick and deciding not to go to the hospital because there is no one to take care of the cats????
    I'm guilty of this one!!! Lucky for me (and them) it turned out to be just a reaction to some med and passed quickly!
    No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

    I loved it, Richard! VERY accurate. I could add a few more:

    Spending 5 minutes with the pet hair roller, removing cat hair from your clothes, is just a normal part of your morning routine.

    You hang onto an old cardboard box for years because it's the cats' "fort".

    I am totally guilty!!! I spent $20 on only one toy last year (not to mention a few other toys) for Christmas, and in a couple of days, it was considered boring! Plus, I have about ten baskets around, some of them sort of broken, and the only thing they are used for is a cat bed!
    I have some more:
    you get up a four in the morning when your kitty pounces on you because his windowsill is shut because it is FREEZING out, but you reluctantly open it for him.

    you give your cat four kitty treats just for looking cute

    you keep stupid little things because your cat played with it once

    your house is covered in unused mousies, but you buy him more anyways

    you can't stop talking about him to your friends
