They just took a monkey from Africa, or what?? I'm ASSUMING they bought it from a credible breeder and it isn't 100% wild.

...they bought him from Africa and brought him to the US? How did they do that? I believe there are some strict laws against that...or at least it would have to be quarantined for some time. What if it has some kind of disease or something?

Oh I forgot about that when I replied earlier. Yeah there is a BUNCH of paperwork and you have to obtain a permit to own one in the states. And I don't think its possible at all to just bring one via plane to America, ESPECIALLY from a country prone to disease via primates like Africa.Originally Posted by areias

I do agree with Jessika. I don't believe in keeping wild animals as pets, period. But good luck with your monkey

Yeah, ok....I have a shirt for my friend that says "Stupidity is not a crime so your free to go" but it's not HERS, it's hers, but i own it solely for the purpose of embarrasing her, in this case They have a monkey for me, it's mine, it just doesn't live with me
