Yeah, just go to register online...instead of downloading icq. I can't remember, but, you may have to put an email address in first...I didn't have an icq # until after I registered.

OK, I think I'm in. I had to send the group master a request to join the group. Does that happen every time, or just this once?

I think it's just this one time. I don't know for sure, though. I already posted once, though it didn't put my name on the thread, although I was logged in. I guess once kfamr responds to the email request (pretty sure she's the group master), your name will appear on the posts...just guessing, though!

Will it always show the icq # for the poster's name or is there a way to actually have it show "kari"?...i wish there was some way to take my last name off of that thing, but, i can't figure it out...is there a way?

It'll show up as whatever name you signed up as.

There should be an option to the right where it says edit preferences.
