I am so sorry that you need to give up your appartment, but you have an AMAZING friend who is helping you AND your kitties. I only wish your parents could understand that pets are family memebers.

Kelly, you are truly blessed, and I'm glad you are able to see that. Someday mom will come to understand what the cats mean to you - this move should have reflected that to her.
I am so glad they might have a proper diagnosis for you. What does a pain management specialist do? Teach you ways to mentally deal with the pain? Teach you ways to move when the pain comes? I find this very intriguing since I never heard of one before! It sounds like a god-send for people like you.
Kelly, don't ever forget we're all behind you here and you know how much we all love you. Someday soon we'll see you regain your independence but in the meantime, God Bless CiCi. What a doll she is. Please give her a giant PT hug!! She will not go unrewarded in this life for being so kind. I'm ecstatic that things are beginning to look up for you. Now you can stay with your babies and share the warm, wonderful, companionship of a dear friend. Your life is going to get better all the way around sweetie!!! I'm thrilled about your job too. You go girl!!! Brighter days are ahead!!! As I always tell you, you deserve the very best that life has to offer. You will always rise above the negativity that surrounds us and you will excel at everything. Keep the faith and don't ever forget that we're here for you. You'll never be alone![]()
I've been Boo'd...
Thanks Barry!
Best of luck to you Kelly.
I hope this new doctor can help you. The pain management specialist can really do wonders because they use so many other resources than what a typical doctor.

Hey Sis, was great talking to you on the phone last night and to get your good news in purrson. As Gini says, things will work out......you know that I'm there for you......![]()
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Godspeed Phred and Gini you will be missed more than you ever know..
Glad to know things are looking up for you...in that you have a place to go, so that your kitties can stay with you. I am sure during your times of discomfort and pain they have been a stronghold for you...how on earth could you give them up?!! At least your mom will maybe see how much they really do mean to you afterall. I will continue to keep you in my prayers, Kelly. I even thought of you as I sat in church yesterday and the pastor talked about how people go thru such struggles and we often ask God, why? And the hardest part of being a Christian is knowing that in His perfect time and in His perfect way, our prayers will be answered, and that it is something out of our control, and we just have to wait on Him...it can be a long hard road, but He will never leave us...I know it is easier said than done. I know you are struggling with things right now, and it looks like you are going to be just fine...(((HUGS)) across the miles and keep looking up

Robyn, I'm FINALLY in a place where I can say with my whole heart (and tears instantly come to my eyes) that you can't look for what YOU want to happen....what we not is usually not in God's plan. Its been a truly hard time with my faith, but because of everyone's prayers and my encouragement from friends, I've come to see that CiCi and my job...even this new doctor...ARE THE ANSWER to my prayers.Originally Posted by Christiansmommy
That, and the well being of my furkids, is my number one priority.
There's no way I'd ever be without them. I'd rather live in my car.
Unfortunatly, mom and I are going through some stuff, and I think this is from God as well. While its not pleasant, its a LONG time coming.
Anyway, I had my first day actually registering patients for tests and surgery today and I really enjoyed it! My superviser even told me that she enjoys having me around and is happy I'm working there.Yay!!
OK, off to play with my furballs! LOVE those critters!
Thanks again for the support guys...there's no way I'd be were I am without you all.
Love ya,
Kelly![]()
