Good to hear from you, Phred. Sounds like a great time. I can't wait to see the pictures.
Amy, that was so nice of you to donate one of your portraits. Glad to hear you were the winning bidder, Phred.
Hurry up people! I wanna see pictures!![]()

Anxiously awaiting more tales and pictures!! Sounds like fun!!
Go, Bowser! And I wondered who won Amy's Portrait... congratulations, I believe it was the nicest item offered in the auction! Thanks again Amy.
Just for the record, Les (ParNone) donated a cap & T-shirt, too. Due to interruption from the hurricane, it didn't get here on time, but will go into the Spring Husky fund-raiser. Thanks, Par
And I would like to congratulate Miss Star for winning the "musical hoops" contest! (just like musical chairs but the dog has to sit in a hula-hoop in the ground with the owner standing in the hoop too.) She caught on real fast & plopped her butt down in a hoop everytime the music stopped!
JoJoe & I made about half the hike...(I'm still not up to full steam since my surgery, so I opted to take it easy)
All the dogs each got a big bag of goodies and a nice medallion for hiking. We had such beautiful weather to boot. A good time for everyone, great to see all the PTers- Phred and Jennifer and Anna and their gang, too.
I'll post pics when I get them back, too.
Only THREE- they musta been watching the NASCAR race like we were!
Dang "Easy Uploader" musta *crashed* on the first lap!
From the parking lot -
with all three Mutts Yipp & Yappin "HURRIE UP, Dad!"
Getting closer - the Pavilion and and our area of the Park were very
isolated (one mile away from the main Park road!) and very clean!
(NICE spot to throw up 2-3 acres of fence and call it a Dawg Park!)
Jennifer "coaches" her heat WINNER in the "Bobbing for Hot Dawgs" Contest!
This is the contest Bowz won his heat in.
And that's gotta do for now!
We're gonna "try" to get some more *snappies* loaded by the Photo Lab.

Godspeed Phred and Gini you will be missed more than you ever know..
Well...I'm home and finally feeling good enough to post my pictures (I was sick, but I sure couldn't miss the hike)!
Of course I took a million pictures..ok maybe more like 110![]()
We had an absolutely wonderful time. We stayed Friday night with some of Jennifer's friends from the rescue who had 2 huskies of their own and 2 rescues, so all together with our huskies that made a grand total of 8!! Let me tell you, having 8 huskies in the house together is a blast!!!!!!
The pictures aren't the best, it was night and kinda dark so excuse all the glowing eyes.
This is Roxey and Cody...they were fast friends
This is Sophie, she was a doll
The black and white here is one of the rescues, Zack. He was taken from a very abusive home and is very timid. I'm sure with the right family he could come out of it and be a wonderful additon to some family. He was a real treat hound!
Zac (top), Scotch (right-he was Jennifer's foster) and Sophie
And gee, look who we ran into...
I never even knew they were coming!
This little beauty here was one of my favorites. Her name was Zena-The Princess..not warrior because she's too gentle to be a warrior
more to come...
We did great on the DOWNhill part!
Bowser: "HEY! How far are we gonna *Hike*!?
My lil Feetz are DRAGGIN!!"
(His feet weren't the only ones *draggin* ...
"Dad" was wonderin who was gonna carry who back UP the darn hill!)
*Star* & Pat *hop* in the last Musical Hoop - we have a PT WINNER!
Roxey: "Are ya gonna *share* those Chawklit Chippie Cookies, Mom?"
Anna: "Not till I get this darn baggie open!"
These look *Yummie*!!
"MOM! Ya ate da WHOLE cookie!! - Where's mine??"
We'll dig up a few more ...
Smokey: Open da Cookie Bag, Dad!"
Jennifer had a GOOD Time all day!
"Scotch" and his Foster Mom, Jennifer.
(Scotch was "loaned out" for most of the day -
and just may have found his Furrever Home
with his Walker Family!)
Anna & Jennifer
The "Girls" just before starting the long drive Home!
*Phunn Tyme* had by All!!!!
