i dont hate you and i dont think everyone else dose either were just really trying to help you make the animal world alot better and better for your rabbit i was talking to a bunny freind and this is some advice shes givin...
here are some quick facts on breeding. Does that are going to bred should be bred before they are 8 months old. Otherwise, they get too old to safely have babies and complications could arise (parallel-a 50 yo women having a child for the first time). Does can be safely bred up to 8 times a year, that would give them 6 weeks rest inbetween litters. However, I don't advise that. Most breeders I know only breed their does at most 4 times a year.
so i think shes means her first time being bred should be 8 months not a year like i said..oops, and i now just how you feel about the taking back breeding the mutts i feel the same way,but whats done is done i guess and umm also she said to find homes for your babies BEFORE breeding them i would take her to a show first and talk to some other breeders/ showers and ask if shes breeding quality and then when/if you get a male then you should do the same also instead of having to buy another rabbit you could also while your at a show find a stud rabbit and pay a stud fee instead of having to pay to keep another bunny
again just trying to help seeing as your young and seems your dad listens to you
