I voted that they are OK but I prefer a regular movie theater. Actually they don't exist around here any more either - all torn down years ago. They were a real help to people with kids as they could bring the kids and then put them to sleep in the car and save babysitting money. Of course if you were parked next to a car with a crying infant it put a damper on the movie! Then again, you could just move your car if it got that bad. The sound systems in the theaters these days really add to my enjoyment of a movie. The drive-in speakers were actually pretty bad.
