Chica has a microchip by AVID. I got it at my local shelter for$35.00. They told me that they use a universal scanner. It can scan any brand chip. My vet has Home Again, and The Vet can only scan Home Again. Nothing Else. I believe that the Animal Shelter has better equipment to scan pets. At Least that is what they told me!
