No ice cream but a wonderful cake!

And here is the frame I decorated to take to the hospital. I covered the matt with some of Duke's bandana fabric.

Thanks for all the support. It is really helping me now that it's getting super close. For the last two days, I've been so nervous that I just feel like puking. Can't wait until it's over with!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I'm sorry I missed this before Val. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I can certainly relate to how badly your stomach must be in knots as you get closer to this. The apprehension is often the worst part I think. We love ya Val, you'll do great!

Having gone through this type of surgery myself, I am wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

You will be in my thoughts and in my prayers tomorrow.

I know you are going to be fine.

I just love that picture that you will have of Duke by your bedside. If that doesn't help you heal faster, I don't know what will.

Best wishes on your surgery Val. I too have had the surgery and I can assure you that you will be a new woman after a bit. It's the best thing I ever did in my life. Please PM me anytime with questions. Just think of the good drugs you'll get in the hospital to make all the worry vanish. Your cake is beautiful and the picture of Duke is absolutely beautiful. Good luck sweetie!! You'll do great!!

    Happy Birthday
