OMG!!! Another furmom with a dog named Star!! My Star is a Lab, and in comparison to her Husky/Shep sister Cody, her shedding is almost non-existant!! What kind of dog is your Star? I know there are lots of non-shed products out there, but have never tried them. A healthy, balanced diet definitely makes a difference in coat health. But for me, there is no getting around it....BRUSH!! I use a shedding blade, comb and a steel brush. In the warmer months, I bathe them at least every week or two.
