My daughter often tells him he's lucky she got him, or he'd be owned by some kid with Kool-Aid stains on his face. (This is a joke of course.)

I'll just bet you were equally thrilled that your Mommy was first in line Somehow, I have difficulty picturing you with sticky, purple fur! And wow, what an auspicious beginning to your new life with your forever family...a trip to Daytona Beach with your very own deluxe accommodations! Quite the Cinderfella story, from the shelter to the Shearton! You're one lucky fella Lestat, having found such fabulous humans to share your life and love with! Or did I get that backwards?
