The company that makes it says they are shifting their attention to another product they make which is a oil or oil lubracant. my guess is they came up with this stuff to absorb oil spills. probably had a cat at their labs and were using it instead of buying litter.

I would sugest anyone who can get a hold of this stuff try it and see if the benifits justify the cost for you.
