I am so sorry for your loss. I am weeping here as I write this, esp. the part where you said he passed his annual check 1yr ago, my two went for their annual today, both apparently ok but for some dental next month. So it makes me realise yet again, how we must treasure every day as time for cats is so much shorter, everything that can happen seems to get condensed into a much shorter time-span. Getting away is the best thing you can do. Rest up, and we'll hear from you again upon your return.
