I LOVE my hometown of Syracuse, NY! Absolutely LOVE it!! The weather can be rough, Syracuse and the surrounding areas get a LOT of snow!!! Last year, they got 11 ft of snow!!! There are years when Syracuse gets more snow than any other place in the WORLD!!!
But it's no big deal, you get used to it when you grow up with weather like that in the winter. People just plow the roads shovel out and life goes on as normal!! No big deal!

AND the summers!!! OMG! The summers are the most beautiful in CNY! There are a million and one things to do; festivals every weekend; dozens of parks; Lake Ontario is there, St. Lawrence River is close...tons of other lakes and rivers for boating, swimming, camping; hiking.....People in CNY REALLY try their best to enjoy the warm weather and take full advantage of it since winters can be long. People are always outside in the summer, hardly ever shut away in the AC...

OK, now that I've bragged about my wonderful hometown...I, unfortunately, have been living in NJ for 6 months! I will be moving to PA on Sunday!! I took the quiz that Auggie posted and it gave me 24 "Top Spots"....Harrisburg, PA was actually # 3 on the list which is great since it's only 30 minutes from my new town!! It also listed Carlisle PA which I think is near here somewhere too...
The rest of the towns consisted of some upstate NY towns (including Syracuse! ), and a slew of towns in NC and Virginia, both states that I love!!
I'm such an East Coast girl!! I love the green and the rolling hills...I would never make it out west!
