I don't blame to border patrol. They did what was legal and then some with the questioning. If the laws were changed then the border patrol would have more power. BTW moosmom, crossing from Canada to the U.S. is not illegal. If the person is not wanted for arrest in either place the border patrol has no legal reason to detain them. Scary but true.
