I had little to no cartilage in my left knee. First they tried orthoscopic surgery, but that didn't work. Second they tried a series of five injections of Suparts which was supposed to regenerate the cartilage, but that didn't work, either. Finally the replacement. I was fairly young for the replacement at 55, but after physical therapy, I can walk normally and go back to work as a golf course groundskeeper at which I do a lot of grass cutting! The doctors are amazed that after 11 hip surgeries I'm still walking around. I refuse to give up!!
