I'm really sorry you're feeling so down. I think we all will have a special pet that affects us more than our others. Duke is mine, as you and probably everyone, knows. I think what you are feeling is bittersweet. Happy to see them again but sad because they are no longer with you. I know how hard it is to lose a pet but not THE special one.
