I am posting this here as it will reach a lot more people who check this thread that don't normally check in other places.


Just wanted to ask everyone to keep Zippy's Grandpa in your prayers and thoughts. This is Bowser's orginal dad.
He has renal failure. And 6% of his kidneys working, had 3 dialysis treatments, refused any more because the doctor wanted him to
1) go into a nursing home and have daily treatments there
2) have someone come into the home and dialysis would be done while he slept at night
3) drive 3-4 hour (one way), 3x a wk to a hosp. and have it done
He's 94 (will be 95 in nov) and still lives by himself, he has had to sign some sort of something indicating he refused further treatment BUT he's looking for a new doc. because he doesn't think "this guy knows what he's talking about."
He has had problems with his kidneys (only 15% working) and they were able to control it thru medicine - But now apparently dialysis is the only option.
The whole family needs to be in our thoughts and prayers.
